Principal and OPERATIONS Director
Eliana & John Whyte
Our work at the IBTI is to create a place where God will do the work, which means fostering a culture of faith, empowerment of the Holy Spirit, mission, relief, care and love. Then, within that environment we simply come alongside our students and show them all we know, live and believe.
LONG TERM RESIDENTIAL VOLUNTARY WORKERS SHARING THE RESPONSIBILITY OF OVERSEEING THE DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS OF THE COLLEGE
IBTI has been my life and work for thirty seven years and the Lord has been our faithful provider. I’ve seen more than eight hundred students pass through the college and it has been a privilege and pleasure to witness so many young people full of passion and zeal for God.
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
My exciting challenging and faith building journey of serving God began at the IBTI so to be able to train and prepare young people as they begin their own journeys is a privilege too good to turn down.
premises and health & safety MANAGER
My wife and I committed ourselves to invest in young generations that want to win souls for Jesus. We feel privileged to be part of their life transformation journey as they endure in their faith. We love to see them growing with passion for God and compassion for people.
academic manager – policies & data protection
finance manager – student welfare manager
My desire is to impact this generation to be Christlike in their daily life, see them motivated by God’s Word and mobilised to fulfil the Great Commission (Mt 28:18-20; Acts 1:8) and through the IBTI influence Europe and future European Church leaders.
student welfare manager
I came to IBTI as a student from 2011 to 2013, with my husband, because we love mission and we felt called by God to leave everything and follow him. We didn’t know what that meant for us at the time but now we know we are here for such a time as this. To impact students in preparation for their ministry God will give them later on. Impacting our students to impact their nations!
My life took a decisive turn after attending IBTI as a student in 2001-2003. Fifteen years later, having spent this years in the ministry in Italy, I felt the call to return to IBTI to prepare and train the new generation of ministers of the Gospel.
Since I arrived in IBTI as a student in 2001 I felt that this is a special place where the Lord shapes lives and equips young people for His work. For this reason, after spending many years in the mission field I decided to come back to IBTI to serve in practical ways and to share my knowledge and experience with the students.
RESIDENTIAL VOLUNTARY WORKERS SERVING FOR ONE YEAR OR MORE IN A VARIETY OF ROLES
internal verifier & academic assistant
After returning from China where I was a missionary, I completed the 6 month Missional Leadership Course. When I finished I was asked if I would stay at the college and work, which I agreed to. Four years later I’m still here!
PA to directors
I serve at the IBTI because I believe in the urgency of its vision to empower this generation to take a positive lead for God and I count it a privilege to contribute to the students’ formation in any way I can.
I decided to become a volunteer after being a student, because not only did I want to serve but I believed my training was not yet complete. Being a volunteer is definitely more interesting than student life but it has opened my eyes into how much the staff here really give. It is an adventure I am so happy to be on.
I decided to come at the IBTI because I was looking for an opportunity to learn English but also to be shaped and challenged by God. This place totally fullfils to what I really desired. And the creation around us is simply amazing!
I decided to stay at the IBTI after my two-year course because it was for me a great opportunity to explore the full-time service to God in a safe place.
It is helping me in developing a wider perspective of ministry, which most of the times it involves much more work on the backstage than on the platform.
Grounds & maintenance assistant
From 2015 – 2017 I was a student at the IBTI during which God impressed upon me that I should stay here as a voluntary worker – two years studying and now my second year working. It has been a totally life-changing experience.
After being a student for two years I was asked stay on as a volunteer. It is a real blessing for me to be working with the rest of maintenance team.
