TRAINING FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

APPLICATIONS 2021

As a college, we have been maximising the opportunities afforded by the recent disruptive period of Brexit and the Coronavirus pandemic to re-evaluate our study programme. We are sharpening our teaching by seeking to offer two new exciting residential six-month courses which are interconnected. These changes will not disrupt the studies of IBTC’s current student body, who will be able to complete the programme they are already enrolled in.

What does this mean?

In the summer of 2021, the IBTC anticipates launching a new Foundational Course in Applied Theology by opening up the application process. In content, this course will be equivalent to the former ‘1st Year’ curriculum.

Upon conclusion of the application process, in the autumn there will be a preliminary online connection and preparation with the college followed by the residential course from the beginning of January to the beginning of July.

In addition to the on-site studies, more information on new experiential opportunities for IBTC students such as placements and exposure to mission will follow.

In January 2023, we are launching an “ADVANCED COURSE in APPLIED THEOLOGY which will be equivalent to the former ‘2nd Year’ curriculum.

Please do not apply for the previous two-year IBTC Diploma Course in Applied Theology as that programme will not be offered in October 2021, but please get in touch with us by e-mailing [email protected] for further guidance.

Keep a look out for further statements to be put out on our website and social media such as Instagram and Facebook. In the meantime, you can ask any questions or register your preliminary interest in this new study programme by emailing [email protected].

Any personal data you provide will be treated confidentially according to our GDPR Privacy Policy.
