Level 5 Diploma in Applied Theology
TRAINING FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
IBTC has maximised the opportunity provided by the recent disruptive period of Brexit and Corona virus pandemic to re-evaluate its study programme. We have re-designed our Christian vocational training courses to be fit for purpose in the new adjusted normal that we find ourselves in.
Running from January to July
The Level 5 Diploma Course in Applied Theology will also be a six-month course designed to enhance existing ministry skills to a trainee leadership level. If a student desires progression of their vocational calling and the development of their gifting to meet spiritual, social and humanitarian global needs, this course offers that opportunity.
Students who successfully complete the Level 4 Certificate in Applied Theology or who have completed IBTC recognised comparative training or who have existing proven experience in Christian ministry will be considered for the six-month advanced diploma.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
The deadline for submitting the application for this course is 30th September for students needing a visa and 31st October for those not needing a visa. In November/December, before the course starts, there will be some inductions online.

ADVANTAGES OF ENROLLING OUR COURSES
IBTC has a proven track record of residential mission training for over 70 years.
The short vocational courses provide a viable study access route in the UK post-Brexit.
The residential setting allows for dedicated learning and discipleship in preparation for Christian service and mission.
The combined study and residential package mean that the courses are very affordable for a UK context.
The courses are taught in English and provide scope for students to improve their conversational and written English skills.
The modules are taught in a manner that does not just impart information but assists students to achieve key vocational learning outcomes.
The new courses have the flexibility to be studied as separate entities or combined as subsequent integrated courses *.
IBTC courses are accredited by NCFE, a leading provider of educational services and a not-for-profit organisation.
* The Level 5 Diploma course builds on the learning acquired in the Level 4 Certificate course. They have the potential to be connected by a practical placement that will innovatively serve as a bridge between the two and reinforce applied learning skills.
